Originally established by the Hoffman family over 40 years ago, the current owners invested in the estate a decade ago, establishing Double Joe’s Ranch in 2023. What began as a retired horse sanctuary has evolved into a private "state park" experience. Guests are invited to enjoy a backyard sanctuary teeming with wildlife, bird watching, and unparalleled stargazing.
This offering is currently part of an exclusive Market Research Pilot Program. As one of the first non-family guests to enjoy the grounds, participants provide valuable feedback that will help shape the future of this permanent offer.
Nestled next to the property owners' dwelling, the site is designed for campervans or trailers under 50 feet. At night, the area is transformed by a well-lit path leading to a private firepit with outdoor seating and a generous supply of firewood.
The studio is situated on a 1.5-acre combined yard and pasture,
featuring partial woods for optimal shade and a gravel surface.
Utilities: 50-AMP electrical service and soft well-water hookups.
Waste Management: On-site Dump Station access (located in the front yard) with a portable tote provided upon request.
Services: Weekly trash removal (Tuesday pickup).
Connectivity: Starlink Wi-Fi nodes are available upon request.
Ambiance: Private firepit with provided firewood.
Security: The estate is monitored by security cameras at the main house and barn, with a street light and yard lighting active from dusk until midnight.
The site is a back-in gravel pad that accommodates slideouts. While the surface is stable, it does require manual leveling.

Booking Policy: A refundable deposit is required to reserve dates. Full payment is due upon arrival.
Departure: A 44-hour courtesy notice of departure is required.
Pets: Up to two pets permitted upon approval. The Pet Policy includes strict requirements for leashing, waste management, and liability.

In 2023, the family officially established Double Joe’s Ranch. The mission was born out of love: providing a dignified and comfortable "retirement" for a life-long equine friend of 30 years, Joe. Today, while the ranch continues to evolve as a sanctuary for memories, nature, and wildlife, the Hoffmans remain dedicated to maintaining this "private state park" as a place of peace and creative inspiration.
